If the construction sector does not rapidly become fundamentally greener, another housing crisis looms. New projects heavily reliant on concrete and steel risk no longer receiving permits in the near future.
In the advice presented yesterday by the Council for the Environment, SAWA is explicitly mentioned as a shining example of how it can be done: sustainable, circular, Paris Proof — and within all Dutch, German, and European regulations.
