NICE is a Food Bank for Bees!
April 14, 2025NICE Developers is participating in the "Feed the Bee" campaign: Pick up free flower seeds from NICE Developers and help sow during National Sowing Day on April 22.
NICE Developers is committed to biodiversity, not only with circular and nature-friendly buildings like SAWA, but also by taking action for bees. Starting Monday, April 14, NICE will open its doors for a week as a bee food bank in Rotterdam, in collaboration with The Pollinators. As part of the Feed the Bee campaign, people can pick up free flower seeds from us to sow on April 22 - National Seed Day.
Pollinating insects like bees and butterflies desperately need more food, which is why The Pollinators has created the Food Banks for Bees. A total of hundreds of people can do their part by collecting native flower seeds. These flowers provide food and shelter for bees, which are essential to our food chain and the preservation of biodiversity. The flowers that grow from these seeds will be a welcome snack for hungry bees.
At NICE Developers, we believe in the power of biodiversity. This is not only reflected in our designs, but also in actions like this, where we contribute to the restoration of the ecosystem," said Mieke Winkel, PR & Marketing manager at NICE Developers. "SAWA, our circular wooden AND nature-inclusive building in Rotterdam, is an example of how we can develop the city with an eye for both people and nature. By participating as a bee food bank, we hope to get even more people involved in protecting our pollinators.

Stop by NICE Developers at Schiehavenkade 150 in Rotterdam and pick up your free flower seeds. Sow with us on National Sowing Day and help the bees get much-needed strength food!
