April 14, 2025NICE Developers participating in the "Feed the Bees" campaign: Pick up free flower seeds at NICE Developers sow them during National Sowing Day on April 22.
NICE Developers to biodiversity, not only with circular and nature-friendly buildings such as SAWA, but also by taking action to help bees. Starting Monday, April 14, NICE will open its doors for a week as a bee food bank in Rotterdam, in collaboration with The Pollinators. As part of the Feed the Bee campaign , people can pick up free flower seeds from us that they can sow on April 22—National Sowing Day.
Pollinating insects, such as bees and butterflies, urgently require more food, which is why The Pollinators established the Food Banks for Bees initiative. Hundreds of individuals can contribute by collecting native flower seeds. These flowers will provide essential food and shelter for bees, which are indispensable for our food chain and the preservation of biodiversity. The resulting blooms will offer a vital source of sustenance for hungry bees.
At NICE Developers , we NICE Developers in the power of biodiversity. This is reflected not only in our designs, but also in actions such as this, where we contribute to the restoration of the ecosystem," says Mieke Winkel, PR & Marketing manager at NICE Developers. "SAWA, our circular wooden and nature-inclusive building in Rotterdam, is an example of how we can develop the city with an eye for both people and nature. By participating as a bee food bank, we hope to involve even more people in the protection of our pollinators.
