NICE Reports – Vet & Lazy Launch of NICE beer: "Houten Kop"
October 11, 2024In collaboration with the local city brewery Vet & Lazy, located in BlueCity Rotterdam, NICE proudly presents a new and exclusive beer: “Houten Kop”. This unique beer is brewed with local grain from the Buijtenland in Rhoon and has a special twist, as it has been aged in oak wine barrels.
Recently, Mieke from the NICE team visited the brewery, where she spoke with brewer Ruben about the artisanal brewing process of this beer. Watch the video here:
During the celebration of NICE's 5th anniversary, “Houten Kop” flowed from the tap for the first time. This powerful, strong blonde beer with an alcohol percentage of 7.5% proudly bears its fitting name.
Curious about this beer?
The beer will soon also be on tap in our office café NICE Place. Would you like to come and taste it?

About NICE Reports
In NICE Reports, our NICE guys, Mark and Robert – or, as in this report, NICE girl Mieke – go out as reporters to interview professionals and experts on specific themes such as timber construction, circularity, and (nature) inclusivity. They ask concise, targeted questions about how these experts, these ‘NICE people,’ view the respective topic: what their standpoint is, what they themselves contribute to it, and how they perceive the current market situation and future.
