In Rotterdam, with SAWA, we have realized a circular timber residential building where buyers and renters live side-by-side as neighbors. Mid-rental homes have been allocated to individuals in essential public service professions – such as teachers and healthcare workers – a group facing increasing challenges in the housing market.
New collaborations with housing corporations
Recently, in collaboration with Woonbedrijf and Havensteder, we completed the initiation phase of two new projects. Using our Quickscan, these locations were assessed for financial and spatial feasibility. The outcome is positive: both projects will be further developed into the preliminary and conceptual design (SO/VO).
