SAWA reaches the tenth floor!
June 28, 2024SAWA is growing! And growing at an impressive rate. This week the tenth floor has already been reached. The stepped form, which characterizes SAWA, is now clearly visible, and from the shell homes it is easy to see what the stunning view will be, which the future residents will soon enjoy.
What makes SAWA special is its innovative circular construction method. Here, all building components are prefabricated and brought to the construction site in batches, where they are processed immediately. The construction teams of DERIX-Gruppe and ERA Contour are putting in a lot of effort, and it shows. In just 6 months, the entire main supporting structure of SAWA will be assembled with around 750,000 screws. And because everything is screwed together, there is remarkable peace and quiet on the construction site, with only the sound of cordless drills and the occasional hammer. This construction method is not only efficient, but also ensures that construction nuisance is kept to a minimum. And that's extra nice, since SAWA is being built in the heart of the busy district, the Lloyd Quarter.
