NICE is immediately seeking a medior/senior project developer who wants to contribute to affordable, biobased, and nature-inclusive residential neighborhoods.

What will your responsibilities be?
As a medior/senior project developer, you will collaborate with the managing partners throughout the entire development process – from initiation and feasibility to realization and completion. Your work will encompass new timber construction and timber transformations/vertical extensions. As a future NICE Developer, the emphasis will be on ongoing projects and assessing the feasibility of new locations. You possess experience in assembling and leading design teams, driving results, preparing project cost estimates, planning, and decision-making documents. Your approach to development is rooted in and for the community. This means you enjoy involving neighbors and interested buyers (private individuals and investors) in the development process. You are adept at communicating a vision, actively listening, and gathering wishes and ideas to integrate into the plan. As a NICE Developer, each new development is considered a “gift” to buyers, the neighborhood, and the city. Beyond the standard responsibilities of a project developer, you will actively contribute to NICE's growth, knowledge sharing, and team development.
What you bring:
- Completed university education, preferably in the real estate domain;
- ≥ 7 years of relevant work experience as a project developer with a developer, housing corporation, or developing contractor;
- Proven project management skills (GOTICK);
- Strong in financial substantiation and decision-making;
- Affinity with public and private law in area and project development;
- Excellent communication skills in Dutch and English (both oral and written);
- And above all: passion for biobased and circular construction, initiative, team spirit, empathy, and results-orientation.
