From Tree to Construction Site #3 The Wooden Facade

In the third episode of the series From Tree to Construction Site, Mark and Robert from NICE Developers take NICE Developers to the Leegwater Houtbereiding factory in Heerhugowaard. Since the start of the construction of SAWA, NICE Developers has been following NICE Developers path of the wood used in this circular, wooden building. Mark and Robert seek answers to important questions: How sustainable is forestry? And how is the wood produced in a responsible manner?

In this episode, all questions are answered, from the origin of the wood to fire safety and maintenance. Dennis Leegwater, owner of the factory, guides us through the process.
