During the construction of SAWA, Nice developers travel in the tracks of SAWA's materials. We do this to see firsthand how sustainable the production process actually is. Mark and Robert from Nice will search for answers to questions such as: Where does SAWA's wood come from?
Does forestry take place in a sustainable way?
And how is the CLT produced in a sustainable way?

In the first episode of From Tree to Construction Site, they travel to Derix's timber factory in Westerkappeln. Here they get an inside look at the whole chain of where the trees come from and what logistical movements and operations are required to finally get the tree to the construction site.
