SAWA Mock-up

This week, construction began on the SAWA mock-up: a test setup of the wooden SAWA structure. Various measurements will be conducted using this mock-up in the coming period to further optimize SAWA's technical design.
All connections and technical nodes that will be implemented in the building will be tested here for assembly speed and feasibility, among other things. Additionally, various measurements regarding airtightness, vibrations, and sound, for example, will be conducted in the near future.
What is the sound spectrum of a vibrating washing machine, and what is the most optimal detailed design to ensure that vibrations do not propagate throughout the building?
These and other aspects will be tested in the SAWA mock-up in the coming period. The structural shell is currently being erected next to the SAWA construction site, and the mock-up will be further completed in the coming weeks.
