Timber production SAWA in full swing

SAWA's wood production is running at full speed. Last week we visited the Derix plant in Westerkappeln, just across the border in Germany, with the team from NICE and Mei architects and planners, to experience the production process up close. The experience was both educational and fascinating, giving us a deeper understanding of the complexity of the process. The impressive size of the factory and the speed of production left a lasting impression.

It has been fascinating to watch everything come together, and now the process is accelerating. The first timber is expected on site in February, after which the building will rise to a height of 50 meters in about six months. We are looking forward to it immensely and will of course keep you posted!
