NICE is immediately looking for a medior project developer wood construction and world improver.

Due to the ambitions of NICE Developers and a number of special projects that are specifically planned for the coming years, we are immediately looking for a passion-driven developer who wants to contribute to an inclusive and climate-resilient society. In other words, we are looking for a developer and a do-gooder.

What will you do?

As a medior developer, you will work with the managing partners of NICE Developers on the entire development process of NICE projects. The projects you will work on are new construction projects in wood and transformation projects where we top up with wood. We realize iconic, bio-based and nature-inclusive buildings, creating positive impact for neighborhood, people and climate. With our socially-inclusive housing program (affordable housing aimed at low and middle income, and free sector housing), we ensure that our buildings are not just for the happy-few and create healthy buildings where people can meet and feel at home.

As a future NICE Developer, the focus will be on ongoing projects and investigating sites for feasibility. You will have experience assembling and managing a design team, driving for results, preparing a foundation cost outline, schedule and decision documents. You develop from and for the neighborhood. That means you enjoy involving neighbors and interested buyers (individuals and investors) in the development. You are able to convey a story to people, to listen and to pick up wishes and ideas that we then incorporate into the plan. As a NICE developer, you give a "gift" to buyers, the neighborhood and to the city with a new development.

In addition to the "regular" work of a developer, you will also contribute to the ongoing development of NICE Developers as an organization. You will also assist with presentations on SAWA and future projects and tours to SAWA's construction site.

The position is available immediately for approximately 32 hours per week.
Our preference is for employment. For the short term, we are also open to interim filling on a freelance basis for approximately 16 hours per week.

What are the requirements?

• Completed college and/or university education preferably in the real estate domain;
• 4 to 8 years of relevant work experience as a project developer with a developer, corporation, or developing contractor;
• Good command of the Dutch and English language in word and writing;
• Excellent communication skills;
• Financially well-versed;
• Affinity with public and private law.
