Do you prefer to lead the way rather than follow? Then we would like to get in touch with you!
NICE Developers focuses as a social project developer on the development of projects that stand for a better world. Based on five shared values – Climate-friendly (CO2 storage), socially inclusive, promoting biodiversity, future-proof, and circular—with NICE Developers , we create NICE Developers residential neighborhoods that have a positive impact on the neighborhood, people, and climate. Where others say it can't be done, we change the system and prove that it can be done by actually realizing the projects. Such as the first circular and award-winning wooden residential building. SAWA in Rotterdam's Lloydkwartier, where construction is in full swing and completion is scheduled for mid-2025.
NICE Developers a young company with experienced and passionate timber construction developers. We work closely with Mei architects and planners. Focus on Impact has recently joined as a shareholder. These partnerships offer opportunities for interesting synergy and growth. Due to the ambitions of NICE Developers a number of special projects that are planned for the coming years, we are immediately looking for a passionate developer who wants to contribute to an inclusive and climate-proof society. What will your responsibilities be?
As a mid-level developer, you will work with the managing partners of NICE Developers the entire development process for NICE projects. We create iconic, bio-based, and nature-inclusive buildings, thereby generating a positive impact on the neighborhood, people, and the climate. With our socially inclusive housing program (affordable housing aimed at low and middle incomes, and private sector housing), we ensure that our buildings are not just for the happy few and create healthy buildings where people can meet and feel at home.
As a future NICE Developer, the focus will be on ongoing projects and assessing locations for feasibility. You have experience in assembling and managing a design team, driving results, preparing a development cost estimate, a schedule, and decision-making documents. You develop from and for the community. This means you enjoy involving neighbors and interested buyers (private individuals and investors) in the development. You are able to convey a story to people, to listen, and to gather wishes and ideas that we then incorporate into the plan. As a NICE developer, with each new development, you give a “gift” to buyers, the neighborhood, and the city.
In addition to the "regular" work of a project developer, you will also contribute to the further development of NICE Developers an organization. You will also assist with presentations about SAWA and future projects, as well as guided tours of the SAWA construction site.
